Important Notice

Breastfeeding is best for babies and a healthy diet / maternal nutrition is important when breastfeeding. A decision not to Breastfeed can be difficult to reverse. Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. It is recommended that all formula milks be used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist, or other professional responsible for maternal and childcare and the financial implications should be considered. All preparation and feeding instructions should be followed carefully as inappropriate preparation could lead to health hazards.

  2. Wash hands and sterilise all utensils

  2. Boil freshly-run water. Leave to cool in kettle for 30 mins to approx. 40°C. Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilised bottle. Do not use water boiled more than once.

  2. Always use the scoop provides. Level off the powder with the bulit-in leveller. Do not press extra powder into the scoop. Add the correct measure of powder to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful to your baby.

  2. Cap the bottle and shake immediately vertically and vigorously for 10 seconds to dissolve powder. Remove seal and replace with sterilised teat.

  2. Check temperature on your wrist before feeding (37°C).
