Are Aptamil products safe to use? Yes.

Your baby’s health and safety are always our top priority. You may have seen some news in recent weeks about formula milk recalls across the world. We understand this may be worrying for parents so we want to reassure you that all our formulas meet high safety and quality standards. They are systematically checked before leaving our factories, and all routine and additional checks carried out recently have confirmed that our products are safe

In light of newly evolving regulatory guidance, we recalled only one batch of Aptamil Advance Stage 1 400g with Batch Number BBD 2026.11.08 in UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman

All other Countries in Middle East and North Africa are not impacted by this recall.

We want to reassure you that the recall is now fully completed, and the recalled batch of products has been removed from the shelves completely. All Aptamil products remain safe and can be used as normal.

How can Danone be sure its baby formulas are safe?

Danone’s infant formula are produced in highly controlled and monitored manufacturing environments and undergo more than 300 systematic quality and safety checks before leaving Danone’s factories.
Both our routine controls and additional targeted analyses carried out in light of the current situation in the industry, confirm Danone’s products are safe and fully compliant with all applicable safety regulations.

How can the consumer identify this batch?

You can identify this batch by checking the Batch Code printed on the back of the Aptamil Advance Stage 1 400g pack. Expiry dates are clearly marked in the format:

Consumers may return the pack and choose one of the following options:

Replace the product with another product from a different batch number.
